  Stewarts and my history. I WAS an avid Stewarts customer prior to today. My wife and I spend several hundreds of dollars here a month.
  
  Tonight I went to Stewarts to pick up a pack of cigarettes. I was denied based on my out of state drivers license not scanning. I politely informed the cashier that my id does not scan, in fact it freezes their computers. The cashier said that he would be unable complete the transaction without a 'VALID' drivers license. I told him I was confused why this was an issue based on my almost daily trips to the many local shops and it has never been an issue before.
  
  I told him he could look at my military id, but i would not give it to him and he again refused.
  
  I then asked to speak to the manager as this was getting out of hand. I am 31 and trying to purchase a pack of cigarettes. I got many excuses including the manager not being there and him being a sleep at 8:40pm.
  
  I intend on contacting the Stewarts corporation located about 40 minutes away as well as sending a letter to the manager.
  
  I will not be back to this store. Probably not to another Stewarts again. My cigarette and coffee habits will have to go else where.
